Enchant Me…!
Now that the Mens Fall 2010 Fashion Shows have exited the news, SPOOK discovered a few rather unknown talents that seem to be eclipsed by Riccardo, John, Stefano, Rei and the rest of the gang. But Chatav Ectabit isn’t a new kid in town. This menswear label was launched in Paris in July 2004 and keeps on hitting the catwalk ever since.
Sandy Dalal and Cliff Fong are the two creative hands behind the label.
Working out of a small atelier in New York City, all their designs are hand made and inspired by vintage pieces.
A constant exchange of ideas, use of luxury fabrics such as cashmere, silk and leather as well as going crazy with hand-dying techniques and all sorts of embroideries including paper, beads and metal sparkle up, these yet rather traditional garments.
An alchemical brand that we shouldn’t miss out on!!
