SPOOK GO TO THE THEAR’ATA.

The team at Spook last week were lucky enough to catch a quick glimpse of the new Australia Horror, The Loved Ones.

Some of us struggled to survive to the end of the flick though. One particular editor threatened to leave because she thought it was a rom-com and was somewhat overwhelmed by the gore.  She was soon charmed however by the leading man Xavier Samual and later was seen leaving the cinema blushing like a girl with a high school crush.

This is a true, no holding back, eye blocking shock fest of the greatest order. So evidently self aware, the film will be a hit for local horror fans who love to note scenes of reference. This is Saw meets, Elephant, meets Wolf Creek meets Hostel meets Psycho meets Home and Away.

So Keep an eye in the coming months for the release of this little horror flick. Set to hit the streets on the 30^th September.
