Whereis the best weekend ever?
The tail end of Winter is getting everyone down – cabin fever has truly set in and you can’t even look at another bowl of soup. To combat this Whereis.com is giving away 25 Falls Creek day passes and one ultimate winter package. The package includes 2 x Ultimate Season Passes to Falls Creek, Mt Hotham and Perisher Blue, valued at $2,300.
But you only have three more days to enter, so shove aside all that other “work” and get to it!
To enter the draw, snow lovers are required to make a post @whereis on Twitter or Whereis’ Facebook page with a passionate declaration of what qualifies them to be Falls Creek’s tour guide extraordinaire – but the competition closes this Friday!
The top 25 entrants, based on originality, humour and effort, will be selected to enjoy two-day lift passes on the mountain, courtesy of Whereis.com and Falls Creek (valued at $204).
Along with the day passes, these winners will also receive an opportunity to enter the major draw to take out the grand prize. This will further test their mountain clout by asking them to post the most unique local knowledge on their blog, website or social networking page.
All content – no matter how simple, silly or naughty – will then be collated and hosted on www.whereisfallscreek.com to be judged by Whereis.com.
The resulting champion will then ski or board away with 2 x Ultimate Season Passes to use at Falls Creek, Mt Hotham and Perisher Blue for the 2011 season!
To get the most out of this year’s snow season, don’t rely on guide books or that creep who operates the chairlift, instead let Whereis.com direct you to all the best runs, parties and amazing spots Falls Creek has to offer.

What qualifies me to be Falls Creek’s tour Guide Extraordinaire?
My body of work!
My body bears the bruises and scars of many years spent riding all over Falls Creek, but I wear these bruises and scars as badges of honour. I have always believed in the adage “A life lived in fear is a life half lived”, and I try to ski as fearlessly as possible.
Having said this I am no gung-ho, death wish, throw myself off a cliff, fall in a crumpled heap, type of skier.
I love the thrill of a perfectly carved turn down “Highway 83″ as much as the gut wrenching, adrenaline rush of launching off the cornice at the top of “Cabbage Patch”. I love skiing “Wombat’s Ramble” under night lights as much as I love playing in the terrain parks.
When all is said and done, I LIVE TO SKI, but even more, I LIVE TO SKI AT FALLS!
