FESTIVUS FOR THE REST OF US

During the long weekend, hidden amongst the annual easter events like the Ripcurl Pro and Creamfields’, SPOOK took an unorthodox approach to the religious holiday. ‘Festivus for the Rest of Us’, an alternative holiday created by Frank Costanza of Seinfeld, is for the rest of us who aren’t too keen on praising the almighty for his sacrifices.

So what better way to celebrate then to have a music festival featuring Little Red, Children Collide, Bag Raiders and Muscles? The true spirit of Easter came out under glare of some glorious sun and high spirits continued well into the night, where egg hunts were replaced with some good old dancin’.
