Boys and A Week In Submission are like coco pops and birthdays, you only get them on special occasions. If you were a child that had the privilege of chocolate flavoured cereal all year round, well then I don’t want to know you. You see, the fellas rarely grace A Week In Submission, but when they do they make it pretty special. Of course, such specialty would not be possible without the talent that is seventeen year old, Olivia Naumov. With just over a year’s experience, Olivia is producing photos far beyond her years and we are thrilled to be sharing them with you. WHO: Olivia Naumov.
AGE: 17.
FROM: I’m from Melbourne.
EXPERIENCE: I started just over a year ago.
JOB: I was recently accepted into a Bachelor of Arts (photography) course at university, and I will be studying that for the next 3 years.
WHERE:At the Botanic gardens. It was so hard to avoid capturing any bystanders in the background!
TIME: Not too long, perhaps just over an hour of shooting.
PEOPLE: The boys were both from Chadwick models, Jan Uwland and Zachary McPherson. Makeup was done by the lovely Zoe Coop.
CLOTHES: The styling was by the models themselves.
CAMERA: I used a Nikon D3100 and a 50mm throughout the entire shoot.
WHY: I was originally planning on collaborating with Jan alone, but he had suggested that Zac come along so it was a little spontaneous.
FAVOURITE: The second one down is my favourite. I’m not sure what it is about it, but the expression and pose really work.
