ISSUE 4

They say good things come in threes. Where as fours just come, impervious to the connotations good or bad, Four is a holistic number, a number that numerates seasons and corners. For some, it's fantastic. For others, it's that extra person for a threesome that deems it acceptable, transforming it from trashy to unique. For us, Four was when we contemplated our own existence. Why? because we are deep. How deep? We'll be wading bottomless oceans and still catching granules. That's how deep. Inside, we look at the demise of print and where we are placed within this whole paradigm shift. We'd like to believe we were objective and fair to both sides of the disgussion, without being so relentless that we made our own magazine redundant. Everything ends.

They say good things come in threes. Three bean salad, three men and a baby, three times a lady, haiku, stooges and celebrity deaths. Spook the third has proven to us that adage is true. With three times as much music, fashion and mental stimuli we are proud to present SPOOK III and want to thank everyone who contributed to it's release into the wild. The holy trinity of magazine creation is patience, perseverance and people - their blood, sweat and tears is the snap, crackle and pop in our Three ring circus. Enjoy!

ISSUE 2

The key to good communication is brevity, baby. So we'll keep it short and punchy. This is our second issue, soaked in a summer flavour quench a mental thirst, cool a sweaty palm and soothe a sunburnt eye. There are no tips on 6 minute abs or baking the perfect plum pudding. Just the fruits of SPOOK for your indigestion. This is what we've shaken from the tree; Shannon Sossamon, Henry Rollins, Patrick O'Neil, British India and French electric outfit Air. We also explore a local Australian cult, talk to an unemployed actor about his devotion to all things soup, and look at the party scene in war-ridden Beirut. Sit back, relax and enjoy the harvest.

Welcome to SPOOK. SPOOK Magazine is a quarterly independant magazine that wants nothing more then to be your friend, a friend that insists on your complete devotion and undivided attention. So, not a great friend, but a friend never the less and friends are important. SPOOK has seen many-a helping hand mould and develop it into the concept you see before you. We would like to thank everyone in the SPOOK collective involved in its conception, pregnancy and birth. Without, none of this would have been possible. Enjoy.
