PARTY PERUSING PAST AND PRESENT
January 27, 2011In honour of our first party of 2011 we looked back over our parties from launch to last and one thing became blindingly obvious...SPOOK parties sure draw a good looking crowd. La Di Da Di, Spook Vs I Oh You. Photos, Pardy’
August 2, 2010It began on a Tuesday and evidently ended on a Wednesday. It was the Spook Vs. I Oh You party and it was good. Sticking a party midweek was always going to be a gamble. People have to work, they won't drink much and they'll go home early. That was overwhelming argument we faced when pitching and organising. But it ended up being truly magnificent. With our new party pals I OH YOU and Grolsch Tuesday night was re-conceptualised inside a South Yarra warehouse.

We spoke to the drummer of In Tounges to get his perception of the party from behind a drum kit.

I Oh You Do DIY
February 3, 2010I Oh You are a collective made up of handsome young men and women aimed at injecting DIY entertainment back into Melbourne’s CBD and surrounds. This is achieved by throwing venue sized gigs in backyards through out the city. “It’s about getting good people together to have a good time.” Johann Ponniah, one of the founders tells Spook. It's speculated that parties like this will replace the 15-20% of venues rumored to close by the end of 2010...
